This is Mrs. Porritt’s fifth year teaching in the Early Intervention Program at Roswell North Elementary. She works primarily with kindergarten, first grade, and second grade students in reading and math. When she is not teaching, she enjoys spending time with her family, running, or reading.
Dr. Lawanna Owens-Twaites, has served as an educator for 28 years. Dr. Owens-Twaites, began her teaching career in the New York Public School system. She has served as a classroom teacher for 16 years and a school/district administrator for 12 years. In addition, Dr. Owens-Twaites teaches graduate school courses. In her free time, she enjoys travelling with her husband and their adult daughters, as well as playing with her two puppies.
Ms. Harry has been teaching ESOL for 8 years and was a kindergarten teacher for 9 years at RNE. She works with all the grade levels, as well as, with many of the teachers to support students with a second language in their daily learning of the curriculum. Outside of school, she stays very busy with her two sons who are very active in sports.
